UDAV – universal data array visualization fast and interactive data plotting on the base of MathGL library

Last news concerning UDAV:

• 25 March 2011. New version (v.0.7.1) of UDAV is released. New features: new GUI, minor improvements and bugfixes, FLTK version now have mostly the same features as Qt one.
  Changes for v.0.7.1:
  • New graphical user interface.
  • Major changes of FLTK version.
    • Update toolbar icons according with Qt version
    • Update "New command" dialog
    • New syntax highlighting (the same as in Qt version)
    • Help and list of variables is placed as tabs
    • Add buttons for find text and grid drawing
    • New MathGL help is used by default (the same as in Qt version)
    • Group errors messages in single window
    • Update animation parameters reading (the same as in Qt version)
    • Show position of the mouse click (like Qt version)
    • Data tables is placed as tabs now.
• 8 November 2010. New version (v.0.7) of UDAV is released. New features: improve "New Command" dialog and animation, add keywords completion and hotkeys, use MathGL documentation for help, many minor improvements.
  Changes for v.0.7:
  • Add highlighting selected (double-clicked) plot.
  • New command dialog now is non-modal.
  • Display column names in data tables.
  • Stop animation if pressed '<<' or '>>' buttons.
  • The case of animation parameter is automatically selected now.
  • Save/load cyclic animation parameter into the file by '##c' comment.
  • Save compressed SVG by default.
  • Make PDF automatically from vector EPS if "epstopdf" is installed.
  • Allow drag'n'drop text files (thanks to Alexander Il'in).
  • Add Zoom-in/-out and Forward/Backward buttons in help of "New command" dialog.
  • Add current line parsing when "New command" dialog is called.
  • Add keywords completion in the editor.
  • Add option to enable/disable face drawing while mouse actions.
  • Add hotkeys for plot rotation/shifting/zooming.
  • Add history for the calculator.
  • Add combobox with all found font files into the Property dialog.
  • Add user-defined templates for data file opening.
  • Update data tables after the script execution.
  • Add image scaling for printing.
• 28 March 2010. New version of UDAV is released. New features: add hints and shortcuts, add initial sorting in "Memory" window, add "Copy click coor" menu and popup item.
• 22 March 2010. New version of UDAV is released. New features: path corrections for win32 version, change shortcuts, animation restart after setup and reloading.
• 8 March 2010. New version of UDAV is released. New features: Russian translation of interface, grid of absolute coordinates, minor improvements.
• 25 December 2009. New version of UDAV is released. New features: new interface, dialog for new command, calculator, code location, new menus, a lot of improvments from MathGL.
• 15 June 2009. New version of UDAV is released. New features: new toolbutton icons, man page, saving of last used path, automatical help/data window closing.
• 4 March 2009.New version of UDAV is released. New features: making GIF animation, add error message of unbalanced ', some minor improvements.
• 27 April 2009. UDAV is included in Debian. Also I setup the donation system if somebody want to support development of MathGL or UDAV projects.
• 27 November 2008.New version of UDAV is released. New features: hint and replace dialog, extending coloring, info button for data, drawing in separate thread, show information about mouse position and about current command.
• 7 June 2008.New version of UDAV is released. New features: bug fixes, many minor improvements, data preview window, tooltips, new MGL commands (fplot, fsurf, fgets), for|next cycles.
• 1 June 2008. New version of UDAV is released. This version was completely rewritten for using Qt4 library.
• 4 April 2008. New version of UDAV is released. This is last (at least until FLTK v.2.0) version which is based on FLTK library.
• 3 April 2008. New version of UDAV is released.
• 18 March 2008. Add links to MS Windows executable which is compatible with MathGL v.1.6.
